1. Sr. Marine Officer
Overseeing the safe and efficient mooring, connection, cargo offloading, and unmooring of shuttle or offtake tankers tandem with the FSO. Including managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant. This role requires advanced ship-handling expertise, in-depth knowledge of dynamic positioning (DP) systems, and a thorough understanding of all related marine operations, while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations and international safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates all the required duties for lifting activities to include but not limited to the activities prior to the arrival, inspects and certifies conditions of tanker, during the mooring/unmooring, loading of crude oil, and after the lifting process.
• Coordinates schedules, permits, licenses, and documentation for cargo transfers, vessels, and marine equipment.
• Serve as the Person in Overall Advisory Control (POAC), providing overall authority and operational oversight for all cargo offloading activities involving shuttle tankers.
• Provide expert guidance and oversee the approach, positioning, and secure connection of the offtake tanker for tandem offloading arrangements.
• Perform immediate and decisive control during any emergency situations arising in offloading operations, such as severe weather, hose failure, or tanker drive-off/drift-off scenarios. Initiate and execute emergency disconnect procedures (EDS) when required to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment.
• Conduct pre-operation briefings with the FSO crew and the shuttle tanker's crew, covering all procedures, emergency plans, and communication protocols.
• Serve as the primary marine liaison between the FSO and the approaching/offtake tanker, as well as with FSO Radio Operator and traffic control (VTS - Vessel Traffic Service) if applicable
• Continuously monitor and interpret weather forecasts and sea state conditions. Advise the OIM on the operational window and initiate delays or shutdowns if limits are exceeded.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, decrees, and regulations issued by Indonesian authorities, including but not limited to:
- Dirjen Hubla (Directorate General of Sea Transportation): All maritime and shipping regulations.
- SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities): Specific requirements for crude oil lifting operations.
- Indonesian Port Authority & Harbourmaster: Requirements for the specific offshore field location.
- Ensure all marine operations logs, offloading records, tanker paperwork (including validity of certifications and insurance), and pre-/post-operation checklists are accurately completed and filed.
- Ensure the offtake tanker has all necessary clearances and permits to operate in Indonesian waters.
- Responsible for managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency for Deck Officer Class I and Maritime Pilot Class I
• Minimum 5 years experience as Mooring Master
• Valid STCW Master Mariner Certificate
• Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• Local Indonesian Pilotage License/Certification may be required or highly advantageous
• Successful completion of mooring/un-mooring operations
• A minimum of 5-10 years of sea-going experience as a Master on Aframax oil tanker is highly desirable.
• Extensive and proven experience as a Mooring Master on an FSO or an Aframax/Larger tanker is essential.
• Deep understanding of vessel hydrodynamics, interaction, and forces involved in close-quarters manoeuvrings.
• Ability to command respect, lead multi-national teams, and make critical decisions under extreme pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills to quickly assess changing situations and implement solutions
2. Sr. Instrument Control Engineer
• Lead the development and implementation of Instrumentation, Control & Metering (ICM) reliability strategies to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operation of process control and fiscal metering systems across offshore facilities.
• Review and ensure optimum design, specification, and engineering integrity of instrumentation and control systems, including participation in detailed design, technical bid evaluation, and project execution (FAT, SAT, CIST).
• Establish and maintain metering assurance programs, including validation, calibration, proving, and recertification of measurement systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and minimize hydrocarbon accounting discrepancies.
• Provide technical authority in instrumentation and control system selection, configuration, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and industry standards.
• Lead and participate in technical integrity and risk assessments, including HAZOP, IPF/SIF verification, and project risk assessments to ensure safe and reliable system design and operation.
• Drive instrument reliability and performance improvement, including failure analysis, obsolescence management, and lifecycle optimization for critical instrumentation and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes (e.g., IEC, API, ISO) and PETRONAS Technical Standards, as well as regulatory and fiscal metering requirements.
• Oversee the implementation and performance of control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and metering systems, ensuring alignment with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and functional safety requirements.
• Supervise and monitor contractors and vendors for instrumentation, control, and metering services, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Evaluate and deploy new technologies and digital solutions to enhance control system performance, data integration, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and competency development to engineering and operations teams in instrumentation, control, and metering disciplines.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics (Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering discipline).
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in oil & gas E&P.
• Solid experience in Instrumentation, DCS/SCADA, SIS, and fiscal/custody transfer metering systems.
• Proven expertise in metering assurance (calibration, proving, validation, and recertification).
• Hands-on experience in control systems, functional safety (SIS), and IPF/SIF verification.
• Familiar with HAZOP, risk assessments, and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Strong knowledge of IEC (61508/61511), API, ISO, and PETRONAS standards.
• Experience in engineering design review, FAT/SAT/CIST, and vendor/contractor management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety, PE, metering certification) are an advantage
• Proven capability in managing contractor/vendor performance, including inspection contractors, subsea service providers, and ILI vendors.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multidisciplinary offshore environment.
3. Sr. Asset Integrity Officer
• Lead the development and implementation of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) programs to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of offshore facilities (FSO/floater and fixed platforms).
• Perform and drive Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), corrosion management, and Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments, including remaining life evaluation to optimize inspection and maintenance strategies.
• Oversee offshore and subsea integrity activities, including UWILD execution, class survey coordination, class extension justification, and inspection of pipelines, risers, and offshore structures.
• Lead pipeline integrity management, including operational pigging, Inline Inspection (ILI) campaign execution, data interpretation, and defect assessment with appropriate repair strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, ASME, Class requirements) as well as PETRONAS Technical Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate Process Safety Management (PSM) principles into integrity programs, including participation in HAZOP, RBI, and barrier management to prevent major accident hazards.
• Utilize CMMS / SAP PM and integrity data systems to plan, monitor, and optimize integrity and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical authority in engineering decisions, equipment selection, and modification, ensuring alignment with integrity and reliability requirements.
• Supervise and monitor contractors and vendors (inspection, subsea, ILI services) to ensure delivery in accordance with technical, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and digital initiatives to enhance integrity performance and operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams in offshore operating environments
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, Naval, Structure or related discipline preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in E&P oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in asset integrity, inspection, or reliability engineering roles, particularly in offshore facilities (FSO/floater and fixed platforms).
• Familiarity with CMMS / SAP PM and integrity data management systems.
• Professional certifications such as API (510/570/653), NACE/AMPP, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Proven capability in managing contractor/vendor performance, including inspection contractors, subsea service providers, and ILI vendors.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multidisciplinary offshore environment.
4. Sr. HR Officer – as a Third Party
Facilitate, monitor and implement HR strategies, workforce planning, organization design, talent sourcing, and career development to ensure a competent and motivated workforce while complying with statutory and company policies. Lead HR relations and services to provide effective support and foster a harmonious work environment aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, control and manage the implementation of HR Planning strategies, Manpower Planning, policies and guidelines by implementing PETRONAS business objectives and adhere with country requirement to ensure optimum manning level for the Company to meet short and long-term manpower requirements to support resource optimization and manpower cost effectiveness in line with the Company’s Business Objectives and Plans. Plan, review and manage the development of HR analytics by benchmarking for best practices to support the decision-making process of the HR programs.
• Review existing HR policies & processes and propose enhancements to support operational efficiency, employee satisfaction and organizational compliance. Provide advice and corrective actions to ensure accuracy and compliance with HR policies also ensure all HR process aligns with PETRONAS policies, local labor laws and internal governance standards.
• Plan, calculate and manage the comprehensive annual HR plan and budget (manpower, learning budget, etc) both in CPB and WPB to ensure consistency and compliance to planning and budget requirements. Annual HR and admin plan budget requirement will be based on manning and activities mapping based on business activities in an efficient and optimum way through fit-for-purpose concept to support the annual and long-term business plan and strategies.
• Facilitate country sittings/meeting by supporting staff mobility and promotions to enhance career progression and motivation. Ensure HR data accuracy to support people decisions. Monitor and facilitate staff development and competency strategies, including succession and talent planning. Facilitate performance management implementation to recognize performance, address development needs, and promote coaching for continuous improvement.
• Plan, facilitate and monitor compensation and benefits programs through market benchmarking to support business needs and governance approval. Ensure accurate and compliant employee data management. Facilitate industrial relations, including grievances and discipline, while advising on labour compliance. Enhance employee experience through effective HR support, clear communication, and continuous HR process improvement.
• Manage Industrial Relation, Employee Harmonization and Stakeholder related to HR.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Law with 10 years’ experience or more in Oil and gas industry.
• Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent.
• Teamwork and strong emotional stability to work under pressure and tight deadline.
• Must be capable of handling multiple tasks with constantly changing requirements.
5. Secretary – as a Third Party
Assist and provide support administrative services to President Director in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner to support business and operational objectives and plans and in compliance with the approved policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze incoming correspondence and determine appropriate action to ensure subject matter is addressed in a timely manner. Liaise directly with the respected section/department and stakeholders for any confirmation and/or needed review.
• Plan or map, screen, review, prioritize and manage appointments, business visit and courtesy calls in line with the appropriate Corporate/business protocols through identifying, analyzing, understanding the content of the appointment. Prioritizing schedule based on the level of importance/urgency to the business and advise the President Director and relevant parties or stakeholders to ensure optimum time management and objectivity, and the Company’s reputation and image are sustained.
• Assist President Director in appointment preparation i.e. draft opening remark based on existing templates in accordance to the content of the appointment and information gained from the respected relevant parties, communicate with Executive Assistant (if any) and Corporate Communication section for a further review to ensure alignment to the Company’s business process, and liaise direction with the respected PIC of the appointments for clarity of the appointment (if needed).
• Conduct information seeking to keep abreast with current events and disseminate to department e.g. new/revised corporate policies, procedures, best practices and lesson learnt.
• Initiate purchase/materials requisition & monitor/administer delivery of items/services. Verify invoices for payment. Monitor inventory level and plan/arrange for replenishment.
• Managing the President’s Office budget effectively and appropriately.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Minimum an Associate's degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as secretary
• Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent.
