Procurement Officer
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in any major.
- Proven experience in marine industry procurement.
- Have link or database related to vessel engine procurement.
- Knowledge of marine equipment, supplies, and services.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratibely and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Job Description :
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers of marine equipment, supplies, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand marine procurement needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers amd address any issues or disputes.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of required items.
- Evaluates supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Stay updated on market trends and source new suppliers as needed.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
